Parivarta

An Enterprise Governance Engine

Not a framework built in a workshop. Every phase below is proven against a real, named engagement — not asserted, demonstrated.

Assess
Redesign
Build
Implement
Sustain

Parivarta — Sanskrit for "change" — is the operating model methodology behind every OSCI engagement. It did not arrive fully formed. It was assembled, tested, and corrected across nearly a decade of real delivery, and every phase below carries the engagement that proved it, not just the theory behind it.

Proof, Phase by Phase

Assess

Decomposition Down to the Task Level

The Assess phase means measuring what actually exists — not what an org chart claims exists. At Merck's Pennsylvania site, this took the form of mapping the Clinical Research Business Unit's processes — Clinical Study Management, Patient Data Acquisition, Clinical Supply Management — down to individual tasks, each profiled into a real CMDB for targeted reporting.

Redesign

The Unified Operating Model

Redesign means turning an assessment into a governed target state — not a slide deck. At Buchanan Technologies, this produced a Unified Operating Model spanning six governed modules: Organizational Change Management, Operations Management, Service Modeling, Process Enhancement, Technology Enhancement, and Supplier Management.

Build

SIAM 360 as a Global Service Offering

Build means the design becomes a real, reusable capability — architected once, deployed repeatedly. Cognizant's proprietary SIAM 360 framework integrated multi-vendor governance, operational blueprints, and OCM modules into one product, deployed globally across major client engagements, not rebuilt from scratch each time.

Implement

400+ Applications, Zero Continuity Breaches

Implement is where most transformation programs actually fail — the handoff between design and live operation. At Medtronic, 400+ applications transitioned to Application Managed Services under a 50-person hybrid onshore/offshore team, with zero service continuity breaches across the entire migration.

Sustain

A Product Model, Not a Service Model

Sustain means the transformation outlives the engagement — the organization keeps running the new model after the consultant leaves. At Merck's Westpoint site, the cybersecurity unit's shift from a Service Model to an agile Product Model reached 95% process adoption, generating a $45–50M transformation deal from a proof of concept recognized as genuinely transformative.

Where Parivarta Is Going

Parivarta continues to be refined with every engagement — most recently through the SIAM Enterprise Operating Model and Network Security Operating Model assessments completed for a Fortune 6 global energy company via ISG in 2026. The methodology isn't finished; every engagement still sharpens it.
